Der Plan were pioneers of the German avant-garde electronic scene, and Geri Reig stands as a landmark document of that era. Originally released in 1980 on the influential Ata Tak label, the album helped define the playful, irreverent spirit of Neue Deutsche Welle and minimal synth, blending quirky electronic textures with a distinctly absurdist sensibility.

This 2012 Bureau B reissue brings Geri Reig back to vinyl, licensed directly from Ata Tak and made in the EU, and includes a printed inner sleeve. With tracks spanning hypnotic synth-driven grooves and eccentric sonic experiments, it remains a fascinating listen and an essential piece of early German electronic music history.
